Mission:

We, at RHF aim at helping Rwandans to build a strong knowledge base of Rwandan society in order to become active citizens stirred up with a positive engagement in the community, where they feel challenged, respected, and accountable as they strive to meet the demands of building a better future for all Rwandans. 

 

Objectives:

RHF’s goal is to foster a commitment among young people and adults alike that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and reassert a sense of hope in the future. Only through personal relationships can a sense of social cohesion be established that will give Rwandans the commitment to follow through on path to peaceful cohabitation with a sense of pride and accomplishment.

 

Through repeated challenges in school, family structures and society in general and the development of destructive habits, some of our Rwandese young people have lost faith in the possibilities that await them if they are to become successful in putting their lives together. To accomplish this goal, young people must be in a caring, inclusive social environment that promotes their best effort and reinforces personal respect through the knowledge of who they are.

 

RHF is a movement that is in direct response mainly to the growing number of young people who are either falling through the cracks of a foreign society or are already entangled with unhealthy and dangerous social practices. At the same time, the foundation will empower the parents in their desire to directing their future generations in the way aspired by a true Rwandan.
